Genesis RTS Expands All-Star Executive Team with Three Key Hires: Director of Product Development, Director of Quality and Integration, and Business Development Strategic Advisor

Genesis RTS™, the leader in optimizing drilling performance through purpose built real-time systems, today announced the addition of three key executives to its senior leadership team: Director of Product Development, Barry Schneider; Director of Quality and Integration, Nathan Zenero; and Business Development Strategic Advisor, Yarko “JJ” Sos. As more oil and gas producers turn to Genesis RTS for data quality and optimization solutions that reduce well delivery costs, these executives mark the latest move to further deepen the company’s product and success expertise.

The new executive hires signal the company’s focus on improving data quality, integrating real-time systems and workflows and inspiring open communication among key decision makers for reliable and efficient drilling performance. With an average of 20 years leadership experience across data-intense operations, drilling optimization processes, and performance excellence development in the oilfield, Schneider, Zenero, and Sos are well-published subject matter experts and have winning track records in driving growth for companies such as Shell, Chesapeake, and Check-6, among others.

Director of Product Development

Schneider brings more than 16 years of drilling experience with heavy concentration on drilling optimization and directional drilling. He has worked across the globe for Shell, Halliburton, and Weatherford, in both offshore and onshore plays, where he focused on operational efficiency, change management, and process automation. In his new role as Director of Product Development, he is responsible for bringing to market product solutions that improve drilling efficiency and deliver higher levels of workforce productivity. Schneider earned a bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering from Marietta College.

Director of Quality and Integration

Zenero is a former drilling engineer at Chesapeake, where he was a recognized leader in drilling quality and automation systems in the upstream oil and gas industry. He is the founder of the Operator’s Group on Data Quality. He has developed several novel oilfield tools including an iron roughneck torque tester and a high-accuracy digital BOP tester. He also specializes in big data analytics and LEAN systems. In his new role as Director of Quality and Integration, he is responsible for the delivery and integration of products, workflows, and technical support for clients. Zenero earned a bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering from Texas A&M University.

Business Development Strategic Advisor

Sos brings a consistent record of leading organizational growth and development to Genesis RTS. As former CEO of Check-6, he led a dedicated team of professionals to provide hands-on coaching for clients in high-risk industries, such as oil and gas and mining, training them on how to transform their companies into performance-based, high reliability organizations, mitigating risks and increasing productivity. In seven years under Sos’ leadership, Check-6 grew from a fledgling startup to a multi-million dollar, 250-people strong enterprise. With 22 years of leadership and command experience as military officer and aviator, he has a proven track record of effecting positive change and improving organizational behavior. He also directed the prestigious U.S. Navy Fighter Weapons School (TOPGUN) pilot training program, and flew four combat tours in Iraq and one tour in Bosnia. As a strategic advisor to Genesis RTS, he will offer strategic counsel and oversee the activation of the company’s overarching business development plan, seeking targeted opportunities within the upstream oil and gas industry, as well as other applicable verticals.
